YoonKyung (Victor) Cha is Key Initiatives Lead / Director at Honeywell and a researcher in AX (AI Transformation) and autonomous operations. He started in ICT and has spent 25+ years in the smart building industry, and now leads strategies that transform mission-critical infrastructure and building management systems into AI-driven autonomous operations — spanning hyperscale data centers, industrial facilities, cloud/AI-based IBMS, and energy & sustainability (ESG/energy-ROI models).
He holds an MBA from Sogang University (2026, top honors, 97/100); his thesis examined the digital transformation of the building automation industry through cloud platforms, AI-driven operations optimization, and servitization. He has published six papers and articles on smart-building energy optimization, delivered keynotes including Data Center Summit Korea 2026 and HVAC KOREA 2026, and holds CDCS, CDCP, Certified Enterprise Disaster Manager, and ISO 50001 auditor certifications.
